In 2001, we began harvesting maple sap from trees at our homes in Connecticut and Vermont. We did this because we love maple syrup, and wanted our kids to develop healthy connections with nature.
Looking for more meaningful careers in 2014, we established Maple Craft Foods in Sandy Hook, CT to make people smile, and to develop healthier connections with food, nature and with each other. We decided to make it enticing and easy for people to replace processed and artificial sweeteners with local, nutrient-rich sweetwater harvested from maple trees, enhanced with natural and organic flavors. We decided to Make Life Sweet. Naturally.™
We still tap our own trees, but also use high quality, organic maple syrup supplied by friends in Vermont who boil it traditionally, slowly, over an open flame, giving it it’s rich caramel color and robust taste.
One taste of Maple Craft products will make you smile. But please don’t take our word for it. Give it a try for yourself!
